“Each generation is meant to lift up the next.”
OCFA Chaplain Emily McColl’s words reflect a lifetime of service to others and why we are proud to recognize her during Women’s History Month.
Emily’s husband, Duncan, is a pastor and former OCFA Chaplain. Together they raised five children and now enjoy time with their many grandchildren, as well as their two mini golden retrievers, Bodie and Laddie, who serve as crisis response canines.
For more than 30 years as an ordained minister, Emily’s guiding belief has remained the same: “God is present and can be trusted to work for good, always.”
Thank you, Emily, for your dedication to the OCFA and the community, and for always being in service of others.
