After Action Reports
After Action Reports are internal critiques performed after a significant event. These reports provide detailed information on the nature, conditions, utilization of resources, and review the event objectively for firefighters’ safety and training purposes. As with any disaster, the lessons learned from these events will also help better prepare our communities for the future as we collectively confront the occurrence of these significant events. The Orange County Fire Authority’s commitment is to (1) find additional measures we can implement to better protect our communities from these types of occurrences, (2) work continually toward enhancing our local capabilities to respond to major incidents of these types, and (3) find new ways for the residents in our communities to help.
